Lastly, in verses viii:13–14, we read, 'And it happened in the 6 hundred and commencement twelvemonth of Noah'southward life, in the first month, on the first of the month, the water had disappeared from the earth … But in the second month, on the 27thursday day of the calendar month, the earth was dry.'
